Shower height secured with spring

I found this elegant button design while staying at a hotel. I'm used to having a screw to secure the holder after adjusting the height. But in this design, you just push a button which reduces the friction and you can slide it comfortably with one hand. Release the button and the holder stays in place.

Apparently, it's designed by Mora.

Quick Ratcheting Bar Clamp

Pistol grip to the people. This clamp leaves your other hand to temporarily hold together whatever needs clamping, making the job of clamping a one man job instead of two. It feels just as good as it looks.

DIY Paper Dispenser

For this, you will need a sturdy paper dispenser with lots of weight in the bottom. You will also need some kind of material at the base that has high friction against a paper roll. I use window sealing strip, because it is adhesive at the bottom, is easy to cut, and you can get it anywhere. It is light grey, which is the same colour as paper dust, and it is a little floppy, which I think helps increase the friction when you pull the paper downwards.

Vic Firth Pump and Grind Stainless-Steel Pepper Mill

This baby uses a classic ball-point-pen grip. I haven't tried it yet, but it sure looks good, and I'm eager to get one.
